I like to make things. I am currently making wooden dimensional abstract art pieces; free standing as well as work that can hang on a wall. Taking a two-dimensional sketch and giving it a three-dimensional reality is a challenge. Yet, it is very rewarding mentally, physically, and emotionally.

At the age of 67, I discovered Mosaics, learning the art from a gifted local instructor. Being a member of several mosaic guilds, I continue to mingle and learn from the finest. Since I’m going to live to be 100, my goal is to continue to learn and improve technical and creative skills.
For as long as I can remember I've enjoyed being out in nature more than anything else. I love to share the beauty that I see there and the fleeting emotion of the moment with others through my photography. I prefer black and white photographs because they challenge my creative and technical skills.
