My art of present began with an effort to create a balanced image using a continuous single line.
I use dash lines to create energy and to represent rain. Plants are my inspiration. I am trying to portray a vibratory essence growing towards joy.

After a lifetime of teaching children how to draw, Danny Jones decided to retire and concentrate on his art and adult art workshops. He began teaching workshops in 2005 and gives Portrait, Drawing, Oil, Watercolor and Any Media/Any Subject Workshops. He also offers "Destination Workshops".

For me art is a way to depict a real-world subject in a mythical world setting. Combining my personal history as a 4th Generation Texan with the cultural mythology of the American West I try to create works of art that let me travel to this world in hopes that the viewer will join me on the journey.
