I can't say I specialize in any one form of photography because most anything can inspire me, from urbanscapes to nature photography. While I find street scenes the most interesting, I often find that to be the most intimidating due to my inclination of not wanting to intrude on other people.

I enjoy being surrounded by nature, therefore I paint landscapes. My favorite subjects are places to hike, fish, or have a picnic and relax. The hill country has many such places.

My mother always made art supplies available to me and my brother. About age 4, I drew an abstract mural in polychromatic crayon on the living room wall. A real mess. When mom found what I'd done, she congratulated and praised me for the excellent work. I've been scribbling and sketching ever since.

The Challenge of developing an idea into a work of art, whether abstract or real, is an exciting process. In this, I call upon my wide knowledge of materials and methods from my arts and engineering background that allows me to bring together art and science.

My art studies and practice exposed me to many media and styles. I especially like oil and acrylic. In this Pointillism Painting, I took pleasure combining math and color theory to produce this abstract pallet of calm and delight.
