    AGREEMENT This is a mutual agreement between WVAL and the artist. Artists will receive 80% of the sale price of each artwork sold and WVAL will receive 20% commission. WVAL will collect, report, and pay sales taxes to the State of Texas. RELEASE 1. The undersigned does for him or herself, their heirs and assigns, hereby waive, release and discharge WIMBERLEY VALLEY ART LEAGUE (WVAL), WIMBERLEY SENIOR CITIZENS ACTIVITIES INC. (WSCAI), WIMBERLEY COMMUNITY CENTER (WCC), AND THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND THE CITY OF WIMBERLEY, THEIR MEMBERS OR AGENTS from any and all manner of actions, suits, damages, claims and demands whatsoever, in law and equity for any loss or damage to the undersigned’s property and for any personal liability. 2. The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that neither WVAL, WSCAL, WCC OR CITY OR THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, OR AGENTS will provide any security or protection for entries and their display will be at the sole risk of the artist. 3. The undersigned grants permission to Wimberley Valley Art League or its agents to photograph their entries only for use in show publicity. 4. Participants must volunteer at least 3 hours. Final schedules will be emailed to each participant.

    All Hanging Artists must volunteer for Set up or Tear down in addition to working for 2 hours in one of the following capacities: Hospitality, Greeter, Sales, or Floater. Please indicate below the area where you choose to participate.

    All Table Artists Must be responsible for set up and tear down of their own table. Will be responsible for labeling and pricing items on their table. Will also keep the table manned or designate another individual to be present in their absence.
  • Setting up the venue, including setting up display panels, hanging art, setting up the sales table and chairs, and setting up the reception table. An individual(s) with a truck is needed to pick up panels from the WVAL storage facility and transport them to the Wimberley Community Center.
  • Tearing down the venue, including display panels, lighting, and equipment storage in bins. An individual(s) with a truck is needed to pick up panels from the venue and transport them to the WVAL storage facility.

    Also, please select below area of your choice for your 2 hour shift (hanging artists only)
    Hospitality- Help with set up and decoration for the Friday evening reception, serve wine and drinks, clean up and store food following the reception.
    Greet attendees as they enter the art show, assist customers with information and purchases, ask attendees to vote for People’s Choice Award.
    Sales- Work the front sales desk to record, package, and handle receipt of money or other means of payment for each sale. Some training may be required and experience is helpful for this position
    Floater-Will assist other volunteers as needed in their duties, help with customer sales on the floor, and relieve any table artists in need of a break.
